The aim of the Honourable Company of Air Pilots Gliding Scholarship is to give opportunities to individuals who might otherwise not have the necessary resources to have the chance to experience gliding.
Honourable Company of Air Pilots Gliding Scholarships
RAFCT-backed Scholarships are offered to people over the age of 18, and cover direct training costs and residential accommodation for a week-long residential course. This course could take a candidate to first solo. Scholars may also be afforded the opportunity to attend RIAT as a volunteer.
These individuals are people who may never have had the chance to fly and who want to broaden their horizons, without necessarily aspiring to be a pilot.
